The Beardstown Main Street is hosting a series of new events called Family Fridays. These events will take place every second Friday of the Month indefinitely! The goal is to provide regular activities and entertainment to the community in the downtown area, predominately, Art Zeeck Park! These events are designed to be inexpensive, fun for all ages, family friendly, and creative! Some of the past events held by the Main Street will now be part of a Family Friday. For example, Art In the Park will happen this year during one of the Family Fridays in the Fall. The Beardstown Main Street has one major sponsor per event, but welcomes other businesses and organizations to participate. KGM Equipment, Inc. is the major sponsor in August.
