4TH OF JULY
Each year the Chamber, Beardstown Park District, the Beardstown Exchange Club and the Elks Club hold a day long celebration of our independence. Held at Roy Roberts Park, a festive day of good food and entertainment is highlighted with a spectacular fireworks display, provided by the Elks Club.

BALD EAGLE VIEWING
One of the luxuries of living on the river is the opportunity to view our nation's symbol in its natural habitat. Each year from December to March it is possible to view these majestic birds soaring high, fishing and just going about their lives. Although it is possible to see them anywhere along the river front, the Marina seems to offer the best viewing opportunities. There is a telescope on the viewing stand at the end of State Street for viewing the Bald Eagles.
CHRISTMAS AROUND THE SQUARE
Each year in December the Chamber and City of Beardstown co-sponsor this event, highlighted by a horse drawn wagon ride around the square and the opportunity for young and old alike to visit Santa Claus and pass their wish list along to the jolly old Elf.

As dates are subject to change each year, please contact the Chamber for current details.
